I hate to be the "nay-sayer" of the post, however I had a lot of problems with the video.
-To start with, there's no way to properly compare the sound of the three kits, sampled at a really high rate, properly in a streaming video. To really hear it would require downloading a video with high-quality audio.
-Secondly, they only spent about one minute of the video actually playing the drum kits one after another to compare sound. Moreover, when they did play like that, the kits weren't really doing the same beats. Also they didn't really make it clear which audio coincided with which kit.
-Thirdly, everyone in the video was spending most of the video either complimenting each other or agreeing. In a good comparison I would have liked to hear the drummer's and producer's in-depth opinions of the three different drum sources. They spent that time showing tune-up of the kits and mic-ing.
The idea was great & I hope they expand on it & up the sound quality; even if it means a much slower download. Less advertisement, more content!

Cheers for that, very interesting. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] I've been messing around with th TD-20 in a drum shop in town, what an amazing bit of kit!The responce is actually very good and playable and the sound possibilities are endless. A great practice tool aswell.
